A Co Puppet design with Dora Croally, The Angry Summer is a devised puppet show and informational film. Created to celebrate and educate a younger audience about the 1926 miners strike in Wales in an engaging way. Commissioned by the Welsh government to remember the strikes 100 year anniversary, this project brings to life Idris Davies collection of poems of the same name about real lived experiences and emotions, through the bold emotive lens of Paul Peter Piech’s a graphic lino print style.
